You can’t really call it a flash mob. There was nothing fast or quick about it, but it was a mob. A dozen or so black teens calmly walked into a Chicago clothing store, stuffed merchandise into bags and walked out. Stories have highlighted the “brave” black store manager who tried to stop them, without mentioning the race of the “youths.” The local Chicago CBS station noted that police said this was an isolated incident. However, it only takes about 30 seconds of web searching to find numerous instances of black mob shoplifting in and around the Chicago area.
