Party Structure

The Knights has a very simple yet effective organizational structure that allows us to proceed with our objectives with the most proficiency.

The Knights is centered around local community units working in conjunction with headquarters. In locations where a unit is not organized – individual Klansmen and Klanswomen can work directly with headquarters in a number of activities. Most volunteers for The Knights choose to be unaffiliated with a local unit – yet still network with others through the members private website.

The Leader of the organization is called the National Director and is assisted directly by the National Membership Coordinator.

The Advisory Council is an advisory board to the national director

A Klansman or Klanswoman is someone who has filled out an application and has been accepted as an associate.

“NOTE” The term “rank” used below is an educational designation. A Knight is a full associate. And each new Klansman or Klanswoman is expected to become a full associate or Knight.

Page – The first rank that a Klansman or Klanswoman can earn through study and activity.

Squire – The second rank that a Klansman or Klanswoman can earn through study and activity.

Knight – The highest rank that a Klansman or Klanswoman can earn through study and activity and by taking a written test.

Unit Recruiter – A Man or woman who has obtained the rank of Knight can apply by way of application to be a unit recruiter. A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. is required.

Unit – the core of the grass – roots movement. A unit consists of 4 – 15 Klansmen and Klanswomen who work together to achieve The Knights objectives. Unit members must hold the rank of Page.

Officers of the unit include:

The Unit Coordinator – The unit recruiter is the coordinator of the unit he/she organizes. Must hold rank of Knight. He/she selects the individuals to hold the following unit offices.

Assistant unit coordinator – second in command. Must hold rank of Knight

Secretary- Assists in organizing unit affairs.

Treasurer – keeps an accurate accounting of unit finances and reports them properly to headquarters

Ombudsman- provides simple counsel to members of the unit.

All Klan units work directly under the authority of National Director Thomas Robb and his staff at national headquarters.
